Karim Ibrahim’s squash journey began more than twenty years ago in Cairo, Egypt, where he rose to become one of the world’s top junior players. As a former PSA professional and US Junior Open Champion, Karim built his foundation in one of the strongest squash cultures in the world, developing the signature Egyptian blend of creativity, precision, and fearless shot making.
In 2013, Karim moved to the United States to attend St. George’s School in Newport, Rhode Island, where he quickly became one of the most decorated high school and collegiate squash players of his era. After graduating from St. Lawrence University in 2020 with dual degrees in Economics and Business, Karim returned to his roots at Wadi Degla in Cairo, coaching at his hometown club. There, he developed more than twenty national junior champions and helped numerous athletes earn opportunities at top US colleges and universities.
Karim’s coaching career accelerated in 2022 when he joined US Squash as Director of Junior National Teams and Head Junior National Coach. During his tenure, Team USA achieved historic results, including silver medals at the 2024 and 2025 World Team and Junior Championships, as well as double gold at the 2025 Senior Pan American Squash Championships. His leadership, technical expertise, and player‑development philosophy helped elevate the United States to new international standards.
Karim was also selected by the US Department of State as a Sports Diplomacy Ambassador, recognizing his impact on youth development, international collaboration, and the global squash community.
Today, Karim brings his world‑class experience, Egyptian squash heritage, and proven junior development system to Inspire Squash, where he continues shaping the next generation of leaders and champions.
